Two Island residents are to be given awards in the Queen's New Year honours list.
Hundred-year-old World War 2 veteran Hector Duff will become an Officer of the British Empire Medal after previously winning a British Empire Medal.
Meanwhile, director of the Isle of Man ship registry Dick Welsh will become a Member of the British Empire for his service to the maritime community.
They'll be officially awarded the honours at a ceremony next year.
