Island police will join a minute's silence today in memory of a UK police officer.
PC Andrew Harper was killed in Berkshire last week after responding to reports of a burglary.
The 28-year-old had only recently married and was due to go on his honeymoon.
Thames Valley Police is leading the remembrance - with other forces across England.
The Island's constabulary will also fly its flags half-mast for the day.
