A new range of number plates will go on sale next week which it’s hoped could raise more than £12 million for government.
The Department of Infrastructure is issuing a series of registration plates with the prefix or suffix "MANX”.
They start at £5,000 with money raised going towards highway maintenance work.
Minister David Cretney says he hopes the plates will attract the attention of those wishing to promote Manx products or services.
