The Manx Sailing and Cruising Club's training project has received a £20,000 grant.
The club gives dinghy sailing and powerboat handling tuition to those aged 10 and over, covering a range of ability.
The money will go towards two new dinghies to support its students, including those with various types of disability.
The funding, from the Manx Lottery Trust, will also allow the club to take larger groups and trainees.
