Essential Manx Gas works will force a road closure in Peel from a week today, until the end of the month.
The works will be part of the Natural Gas Extension Project and will take place in the Ballaquane Road area.
The work will see the closure of the Poortown Road from Ballalough Farm to Ballaquane Road for the laying of a new gas pipeline.
The works will mean people living in the surrounding area will be able to receive the benefits of natural gas.
Access to the farm will be maintained and advance-warning signage will be displayed at appropriate locations.
