Manx Gas is warning people not to fall for a phone scam which sees people pretending to be from the company.
It says it's received reports of fraudsters calling people and claiming they're from 'The Gas Board', and want to talk about renewing a package for a gas boiler.
But the authority says it's not them - as they'll always identify themselves as Manx Gas, and their telephone number will not show as withheld.
Their advice is to ask for a call back if you're concerned.
