Manx Gas currently dealing with emergency gas escape in Douglas

Due to the location of the escape its meant the road has been restricted to single file traffic, controlled with traffic lights.

Manx Gas are currently carrying out emergency work to repair a gas escape in the highway on Bucks Road, between Tynwald Road and Christian Road in Douglas.

Due to the location of the escape its meant the road has been restricted to single file traffic, controlled with traffic lights.

This may cause delays, especially at peak times; motorists are advised to seek an alternative route.

It’s anticipated that the work should be finished by tomorrow.
