Manx Care to take over Hillside Dental Practice

Manx Care will be taking over the management of Hillside Dental Practice for an initial 12 month period from December 1.

It comes as the provider has formally handed back their contract.

The health body will secure the future provision of NHS dental services for the patients currently at the practice.

It adds that it was recently made aware that a number of patients were not recalled for an examination for two years or more, and reassures patients that it's mindful of these issues.

A plan will be put in place in the coming months to ensure a smooth transfer.
