Manx Care says it'll publish figures for missed GP appointments each month in future.
The organisation has released statistics for November, showing patients didn't turn up for 1,419 appointments over the course of the month.
Manx Care says that's the equivalent of two full-time doctors' time wasted by non-attenders.
In Ramsey, 336 appointments were missed that month compared to just 59 in Castletown.
