A planning application has been submitted to demolish and rebuild a respite unit in Douglas.
Manx Care hopes to redevelop Radcliffe Villas, the Adult Learning Disability Respite Unit on Glencrutchery Road.
The project would be done in phases, and is part of the health organisation's programme to improve core social care residential and respite facilities.
The new build would have capacity for 12 users, and the existing facility would remain operational throughout the construction phase.
