Manx Care sites are experiencing 'critical staffing pressures' due to travel difficulties caused by the weather conditions.
A spokesman says further staff are expected to arrive across their sites, but are 'significantly delayed.'
As a result, any outpatient, endoscopy and vaccine appointments planned for today will be cancelled and you should not attend if this affects you.
Patients booked for elective procedures or scheduled for oncology treatment should contact the relevant unit.
Further, all community antenatal and postnatal clinics are being rescheduled, and a member of staff will contact those affected.
Manx Care is also stressing that the Ambulance service is operating at the highest level of pressure due to issues on the roads.
The public are reminded the Manx Emergency Doctors Service can be used for emergencies and the Minor Injuries and Illnesses Unit in Ramsey is available.
Braddan Road, Ballafletcher Road and Johnny Watterson's Lane are all still open, but take care if attending the Noble's site.
