Manx Care does not know how many people received treatment for opioid addiction following overdoses since January 2023.
In response to a Freedom of Information request, the body said 'the Drug and Alcohol Team do not collect data specific to engagement in treatment directly related to opiate overdoses, therefore we are unable to provide information.'
Last month Manx Care issued advice to the public in the event of spotting someone who may be suffering from a heroin overdose, following two near-fatal overdoses.
Police also appealed to the public saying if you have consumed it, or know someone who has, you should seek immediate medical advice at Nobles Hospital.
