The Manx Breast Clinic is currently experiencing disruption due to staffing issues.
Manx Care says it's particularly affecting their ability to run the regular 'One Stop' assessment clinic for new referrals, as well as recalls from the Breast Screening service.
The health body reassures that temporary doctor cover has been secured, however this will mean delays in appointments.
This means all forthcoming 'One Stop' appointments will have to be cancelled and rebooked.
As well as this, women requiring a follow up appointment following a mammogram will be provided with one as soon as possible, but it may be at the Nightingale Breast Centre in Manchester.
The team says their ability to undertake breast cancer surgery is unaffected, and they're working to rebook those affected and are anticipating no more than a seven day delay.
