Manannan has returned to service this morning following more than a week of disruption and cancelled sailings.
The boat left Douglas for Liverpool at 7.30am and is due to operate as scheduled for the rest of the day.
Extensive repair work has been carried out after the boat ingested debris last Friday – the Steam Packet says it was the worst damage its fast craft have ever sustained.
Passengers have once again been thanked for their patience in what the company has called a “difficult period”.
