The Steam Packet company says this afternoon's Manannan sailing to Liverpool will set off around two hours late.
This morning, the company said her crossing from Heysham would arrive late in the Island.
The 4pm trip is now due to set off from the Island at 6pm.
On its website, the ferry firm says check-in for the crossing will open at 3.30pm.
