It's expected the Manannan will be replaced by a new fast craft in 2030.
That's according to the Steam Packet's business plan for 2024.
It also shows that almost £2m will have been spent on refurbishing the Manannan, despite having a previous budget of £250,000.
The company also plans to spend £370,000 on work to its booking system and development of a mobile app.
