Police resorted to using a taser at the weekend, after a man threatened to end his own life.
On Sunday evening officers were deployed to the man who was threatening to kill himself with a razor blade.
The police were able to discharge the taser as the man began to harm himself.
They then give him first aid, before he was treated by paramedics.
The force's Operational Support Group took to social media to confirm the news.
