A man was treated for minor burns after a house fire in Foxdale on Saturday.
Fire crews from Peel and Douglas were called to the property in lower Foxdale just after 5pm.
On arrival they found the occupier had successfully extinguished a fire in the chimney area but had sustained burns while doing so.
He was treated at the scene by ambulance crews.
Damage to the property was minimal but crews stayed on scene for 30 minutes to assist with the removal of the debris caused by the fire.
