A local man is set to attempt a 24-hour swim in a bid to raise £50,000 for two Island charities this weekend.
This Saturday, September 6, Martin Malone will be taking on the challenge at the St Andrews lakes in Kent - stopping only to eat and drink.
He's already raised more than £10,000 for Rebecca House Hospice and The Children's Centre.
There's also a prize draw to guess the distance he'll reach for a £5 donation - you can find out more and donate here.
