Man left with facial injuries after assault

Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault which left a man with facial injuries.

It took place between 12.30am and 2.30am on Sunday in Barrack Street in Douglas.

A 21-year-old man has been arrested and will appear in court on November 18th but police say they now need to hear from people who were in the area.

The victim has now been discharged from hospital and is recovering from his injuries.
