The Island's Fire and Rescue Service say a man escaped serious injury yesterday after crashing on the Mountain Road.
His car came off at the Mountain Mile shortly after 8am on Wednesday and travelled hundreds of yards down the mountainside before coming to a stop.
The man managed to get out of his car before the emergency services arrived.
The Fire and Rescue Service says he suffered only minor injuries in the incident.
