A visiting worker ended up in court after tussling with security staff at a city centre bar.
Gavin Chippendale, of Pine Grove in Golborne in Greater Manchester, appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood at Douglas Courthouse.
The 36 year old admitted disorderly behaviour on licensed premises after being thrown out of Jaks on April 7 - he tried to get back in and grappled with security staff before lashing out, leaving one staff member with a minor injury.
He was arrested but continued to be aggressive in the police van.
Sentencing was adjourned until May 21 and Chippendale was bailed on condition he doesn't enter licensed premises or drink alcohol in public.
