A young man who breached a suspended prison sentence for possessing drugs has narrowly avoided prison after he was found with cannabis worth nearly £300.
Neil Clarke, of Bucks Road in Douglas, appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
Officers went to the 20-year-old's home on an unrelated matter on March 17 but searched the property when they smelled cannabis and found 14.5g of cannabis worth £290.
Clarke had been given a suspended prison term in 2021 after being caught with £20,000 worth of cannabis.
For his latest offence, he was put on probation for 18 months and ordered to pay £125 costs.
