Police are continuing to investigate after the body of a Douglas man was found in a river last night.
He was 52 year old Kevin Wilkinson of Stanley View.
Mr Wilkinson’s body was recovered from Douglas River, just before 5pm, by Douglas Coastguard which was called out to help bring him to the riverbank.
Police say the matter is not being treated as suspicious but would like to hear from anyone who had contact with him yesterday.
They’d also like to hear from anyone who has information which could assist in understanding the circumstances of this tragic death.
The Coroner of Inquests has been informed.
