A man whose Christmas celebrations ended in a fight has been fined.
Christopher Anderson of Hampton Farm in Douglas appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 36 year old admitted one count of being drunk and disorderly outside the Villa Marina on Harris Promenade on December 21.
The court heard police spotted Anderson and another man – who’s also facing charges over the incident – throwing punches at each other at 4.30am and both men had to be sprayed with incapacitant before they could be arrested.
Mrs Hughes fined Anderson £400 and ordered him to pay costs of £125.
