A drunken man entered Ramsey police station and asked to be tasered, a court's heard.
Martin Read, of Waterloo Road in Ramsey, appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood at Douglas Courthouse.
The 53-year-old admitted being drunk in public and resisting arrest after the incident on December 9.
Kate Alexander, prosecuting, said officers arrested him because they were worried for his welfare, but he resisted and it took six officers and incapacitant spray to restrain him.
Read was fined a total of £530 and ordered to pay £300 costs.
