A man has appeared in court by live link from his bed to deny charges of theft and a public order offence.
Andrew Falconer, of Close Ny Mooragh in Ramsey, appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood at Douglas Courthouse.
The 58-year-old was too ill to appear in person, but denied stealing equipment from a boat moored in Ramsey harbour on September 29 and a public order offence in Parliament Street in Ramsey on October 9.
The case was adjourned for a pretrial review and Mr Falconer was bailed in the sum of £500.
