A man's appeared in court accused of assaulting a woman in Port Erin.
Derek Michael Christopher Bird of Waverley Terrace in Ramsey appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse via a live video link from the Isle of Man Prison.
The 54 year old denies provoking behaviour and assault on Ballafurt Road on July 29.
There was no bail application and Mrs Hughes remanded him in custody to appear again on September 3.
