Man denies assaulting his partner and damaging her property

A man accused of assaulting his finacee, throwing her through a coffee table and stealing her mobile phone, has been remanded in custody.

Karl Allen Cameron of Cronk y Berry in Douglas appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.

At an earlier hearing, the 33 year old pleaded not guilty to assaulting his then-partner, stealing her Samsung mobile phone and damaging property belonging to her on November 17.

Mrs Hughes refused to grant a bail application and remanded him in custody until his next appearance on December 20.
