A man who denies assaulting his partner causing actual bodily harm has been remanded in custody.
Ivaylo Blagov Stanchev of Clifton Terrace in Douglas appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes.
The 39 year old has pleaded not guilty to the attack, alleged to have taken place on March 19.
Mr Stanchev was remanded in custody and will appear in court again on April 26.
