Man charged with 11 sex offences to stand trial

A Douglas man who's been charged with a string of sex offences will stand trial.

At Douglas Courthouse yesterday 55-year old Antony Carus was committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery.

He's accused of 11 offences including rape, indecent assault and gross indecency - they are alleged to have taken place between 2001 and 2012.

An application for bail was refused and he was further remanded at the Isle of Man Prison until his next court appearance.
