A man caught driving without a proper licence has been fined.
Bernard Mensah of Wesley Terrace in Douglas appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 30 year old admitted a single count of not having a driving licence on Shore Road in Gansey on September 22 last year.
Prosecutor Rebecca Cubbon told the hearing Mensah was stopped by police at around 3.15pm and only had a provisional licence.
Magistrates fined him £200 and imposed two penalty points on his licence as well as ordering him to pay £50 costs.
