A man accused of abusing a former partner has been bound over to keep the peace.
Stuart James Morris of Church Road Marina in Douglas had denied domestic abuse between April and May last year.
He'd been accused of threatening to kill the woman and any new boyfriend after their relationship ended.
At his trial, prosecutors offered no evidence, and the charge was dismissed.
Morris accepted his behaviour had been poor and agreed to be bound over to keep the peace for 12 months.
He was given an indefinite restraining order preventing him contacting his former partner.
