A report is due back to Tynwald next week about the possibility of adding fluoride to the Island's water supply.
Since 1986 it's introduction has been knocked back twice, this time however it comes with the backing of the IOM Dental Association.
But a number of island dentists disagree, and one of them - Dr Ian Rigby of Integral Dental - is presenting tonight at an open public meeting at the Methodist Church, Loch Promenade at 7pm.
A petition to block the proposed plans has gained hundreds of signatures so far.
