Man arrested and charged for knocking TT visitor unconscious

A local man has been arrested and charged with Grievous Bodily Harm after a visitor was knocked unconscious in Ramsey.

At around 3am on Market Street, a 26-year-old man from Somerset was assaulted in an incident involving a number of people.

The man was subsequently taken to Noble's Hospital by ambulance - where he is receiving treatment for a non-life threatening head injury.

Officers would like to speak to the occupants of a small red car - which was seen driving by at the time.
