A Union Mills motorist who was caught driving without his seatbelt will be sentenced next month.
36-year-old Darryl James Fox, of Snugborough Avenue, was spotted by an unmarked police car on Valentine's Day.
The policeman pulled over his Citroen Saxo and Fox went on to admit he had no insurance and his tax had run out five months earlier.
At Douglas Courthouse last week Fox admitted the three offences from February 14th by Coroner's Admission.
In a letter to the court he wrote "I apologise for my stupidity".
Magistrates required Fox to attend court for sentencing - he will next appear on May 4th.
