A Laxey man caught trying to post more than £22,000 off the Island will be sentenced in a Court of General Gaol Delivery.
Craig George Trevor Lovell of Minorca Hill appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 27 year old admitted attempting to remove criminal property from the Island on October 12 last year.
Prosecutor Rebecca Cubbon told the hearing Post Office staff alerted police to a suspicious parcel - when it was opened officers found £22,240 inside.
CCTV showed Lovell posting the package, and when interviewed he answered no comment to all questions.
Magistrates bailed him in the sum of £500 and he’ll next appear on July 30.
