A Douglas man is accused of breaking into an Anagh Coar home by climbing through a window and assaulting the occupant.
Lee Cowell of Darragh Passage appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 49-year-old denies causing actual bodily harm and burglary on June 16 last year.
Mr Cowell was remanded in custody to appear again on June 27.
