Police are advising people to make sure they keep gardening tools locked away securely as better weather means gardening work.
Officers took to Facebook to warn items like spades, trowels, and garden forks can be used by thieves to gain access to sheds or homes.
Their advice is to lock them away securely, put security markings on them and make sure they're not easily taken.
They say would-be thieves can see garden sheds as easy targets.
