Sharon Langley and her family are fighting for a screening programme as sometimes 'diagnosis comes too late to help.'
Her husband Paul found he had Stage 4 lung cancer in December last year and passed away just eight weeks later.
Currently, only breast, bowel and cervical cancer screenings are done on the Island.
Public Health told 3FM the UK National Screening Committee (NSC) has not yet recommended screening, but they continue to carefully monitor the advice and guidance around providing an early screening programme.
