A local school has been shortlisted in a national climate week challenge.
A group of students from QE2 in Peel entered Britain's biggest environmental competition.
Teacher Lesley Sleight told us that the theme was 'save the planet, save the pounds'. The teenagers were given just 5 hours to come up with an idea.
The school planned it around bracket making, out of paper, to help elderly people with their fuel and saving money.
They'll find out tomorrow if they are the national winners. Lesley said it's been an experience just taking part. (audio above)
The judging panel includes adventure TV presenter Ben Fogle, singer Eliza Doolittle and footballer Gary Neville.
