An Onchan man has set himself the '9 peaks challenge' to raise money for Cruse Bereavement Care Isle of Man.
Gary Thomas, a volunteer with the charity, will undertake the Yorkshire Three Peaks, followed by the National Three and then the Welsh Three Peaks.
He's hoping to complete the challenge over three days, starting on Tuesday July 19.
The challenge amounts to 64 miles of walking and over 22,000 feet of climbing.
Gary told 3FM why he's decided to raise the money:
You can donate to his justgiving page here - with all funds raised going towards Cruse.
