Local child sex offender sentenced to 11 years

Michael James Moore from Ramsey was convicted on four counts of rape and two of indecent assault on a child in the early 1990s. 

 

Police commended the victim for bravery throughout the process - saying regardless of when the abuse took place, it's always possible that justice will prevail. 

 

At Douglas Courthouse Deemster Alastair Montgomerie also listed Mr Moore for an indefinite period on the Sex Offenders Register.
