A local business owner has announced she'll stand for Arbory, Castletown and Malew in the general election.
Abby Quirk says over the past few years she's been campaigning on issues like children's mental health and supporting victims through the criminal justice system.
She also wants to see more support for independent businesses, as her café's being struggling because of the current VAT threshold.
The general election will take place on Thursday, September 24.
