Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a crash that claimed the life of a local biker.
Officers say the incident happened at 5pm on Mad Sunday, on the TT course between Handley’s corner and Barregarrow crossroads near Ballaskyr Farm.
A Yamaha ridden by a 59 year old local man collided with a Nissan car as it pulled out of a driveway - a Honda motorcycle was also involved.
Officers say the Yamaha rider died from his injuries at Noble’s Hospital, while the Honda rider from the UK and front seat car passenger, from Northern Ireland, were treated at Noble’s Hospital.
Police are asking anyone with any information to contact police headquarters.
