Local authority narrows down key objectives

Patrick commissioners say they've narrowed down their mission statement to seven issues.

Earlier this year, Commissioner Leo Cussons raised the idea to be considered by the board.

At its last meeting, the local authority discussed what the statement of manifesto should contain.

They agreed to include lowering waste costs, increasing recycling, verge scraping, pavement remediation, weed spraying, community and green spaces.
