The living wage and the enterprise minister's pegging strategy will be discussed in the House of Keys next week.
When MHKs sit on Tuesday Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas will Enterprise Minister Tim Johnston about how the living wage would be linked to the Island's average wage.
Mr Thomas also wants to know how that link has worked in other countries.
The House of Keys will sit from 10am on Tuesday in Legislative Buildings in Douglas.
