A Liverpool man is due to appear in court this morning after being caught trying to import around £250,000 of cannabis to the Isle of Man.
The 50-year-old was stopped by police at the Sea Terminal on Friday after a sniffer dog indicated his car should be searched.
The man has been charged with production of the Class B substance and possession of cannabis bush and resin with intent to supply.
Police have described it as a ‘major importation of cannabis’.
