Douglas Lifeboat was called into action this morning to help a fisherman who had been taken ill at sea.
RNLI crew were paged from their beds just before 3.30am to carry out a medical evacuation from a vessel 18 miles east of Douglas.
The crewman, who was suffering from chest pains and tingling sensations in his limbs, was transferred to the lifeboat and brought into Douglas Harbour where he was taken to hospital by ambulance.
