Douglas lifeboat was launched on Sunday night to help search for a missing person.
The Sir William Hillary vessel carried out a close inshore search in the area of Keristal and Port Soderick just before 7pm.
After using searchlights and parachute flares the RNLI team were stood down two hours later when the person was found safe and well.
